@razmeister Could you please re-upload the recording of the noise from the first post? I'll appreciate it as I am looking the reason of rare clicking from the back right/center part of my Leon Cupra ST.

Hi @m1chal_p , I've edited the original message with a new link:

Hope you manage to find the source, these noises drive me mad!

@razmeister thank you for the upload, I'm experiencing different clicking sound from the rear of the car. It happens rarely but it exists :/ I hope I will figure out where it comes from.

Thanks for sharing ! I've got same rattle on my RHS and though my struts are gone ! And I only bought the car 3 months ago! Will defo check the exhaust hanger pin next time car goes for service !

I've found the source of the clicking sound. I noticed it was only making the noise when a rear right backrest was in the top position. Finally I replaced a backrest release mechanism from 5Q0885682J to 5Q0885682M and now I'm enjoying the silence :)

Yes that fixed it. Other noises were sorted by putting additional sound insulation and speaker foam in the doors. Another very annoying one was resolved by tightening the bolts holding the boot lid.

I can now report it is a joy to cruise in, it drives so silently and serenely...until I put my foot down that is!

You gave me a good tip to try as i have an EXACTLY the same "driving me mad" rattle noise like you described in the 1st post. I've been trying to fix it for years now with no result. When its summer, i don't hear it almost at all becouse of the windows open and i think it mostly goes away then, but as soon as autumn begins, not to mention the winter, here is it again.
I will start with the exhaust hanger, can u please tell me what bolts holding the boot do you mean exactly ?

Thanx.
