Another project, refurbed my knob...

Had some paint lying around from spraying the Mrs eyebrows for her new beetle so thought i'd have ago at the tired worn looking gear knob on my LCR.
I think it looks ok, but unsure on the colour. Whether to leave or to change back to black??

Wht do you guys think?
Do you like the red or should i change it back to black?

looks a bit bright from so close but guessing flash from cam but using my imagination im guessing the red matches the other red from a more far away shot and so so looks very nice mate also did u spray it fitted on the car if so how the heck did u not get paint all over ur car lol

Here are some pics from further away, sounds stupid but because if the nice weather the reflection is making it look abit bright and orange in the pics. But you get the idea.

As for not getting paint all over my car, alot of time masking and alot of newspaper....hehe.

If it's not blury, its reflecting too much light! I can't make out if it looks good or not, turn auto focus off , adjust it properly and take a better picture or wait till night and use the flash. Need better pics dude.

Also post the pics on here rather than just the links then i don't have to keep opening other pages.

personally i think the red is too rich, i like the idea but i just the red is a little too overpowering for me

I got in the car this morning and was thinking the same, looked good when i did it and still looks ok but the red is abit overpowering, think i'm going to redo at the weekend in black instead. Oh well, you live and learn don't ya....

I'll see if i can take some better pictures, just had a mate in the car and he said it looks good.
I'll leave it for abit and see if it grows on me.
