Right since have the coilovers put on the car iv had an annoying creak everytime I go over a bump or a bumpy uneven road! The bushes and ball joints are all new along with top mounts ! The noise is coming from the front low down, I am lead to believe that's its the anti roll bar that's doing it due to the sleeve between the bush and the bar either splitting or Caroding. And when the car is jacked up you can hear it creaking and feel it on the bar and drop link! Iv disconnected the drop links and tuned the roll bar up and down and you can also hear it , which to me would eliminate the drop links, so my question is what do I do? Replace ? Upgrade ? And where is the best to get another roll bar or is there any other options?

Maybe just the bushes on the bar are worn and have ovaled, cheap option would be put some new bushes in and see if it cures it
If looking to upgrade at the sametime the R32 bar is a fatter and goo option but will induce more understeer until a rear is added to balance it

I had the powerflex arb bushes fitted 1500 miles ago so I doubt it would be them, I thought the r32 arb would fit I may look into that, but you can get front and rear Eibach for £295 and I new r32 front is £130?

Have you still got the sleeve fitted?

You need to knock it off and get smaller bushes! Run without the sleeve

Iv got the 19mm bushes on now so don't think they do any smaller bushes unless they are too tight, the did say they where a twat to fit, how would I knock the sleeve out just loosen it off and get a screwdriver or chisel and knock it all out?

Thanks mate, I can live with the creaking for now as the car isn't used alot, I was just wondering what the options where it if there was any suggestions to stop it!

Pretty easy job! Drop the subframe (first time i did it and found it very straight forward)

Can you change without dropping the sub frame? So you wouldn't recommend ditching the sleeves and leaving the 19mm ones on? I'm guessing it would leave too much play on the bar?

You sure the rust just isn't copper grease from the bush?

I've heard ppl using the 19mm bush! Give it a go whats the worst that could happen!

I dont know how hard it would be to do in situe as i needed to change my arb anyways so for me it was always a subframe off job

If I remember rightly some of the paint has come off it and its started to rust just before the bush, I may have a look at at and just listen the bolt and see what happenes

Dont loosen bolt too far as you'll never get it back on

Arb really needs to come off then and rubbed down and repainted / powdercoated
