Just as a matter of interest does it support coding on SFD Protected control units (I accept the OP is not impacted by that)

Yes, it supports coding in SFD-secured units. Whether it is possible to do everything possible - I do not know. I coded a MY22 Tiguan and there were no problems.

To be exact it was a MY22 Tiguan from the US. Other cars I have hooked up to (the newer ones) were Octavia IV, Leon KL, Golf MK8. Everywhere the app managed to handle the coding.

Oh yes, Like Superb 3...

The application in the Pro version can generate temporary tokens. This function is all the time in development and it is not fully functional. It happens that the token does not work or will not be generated. The app is being updated all the time and many aspects of it are being improved.
Personally, I have my own access to generate original tokens, so I rather not use the generator in the app.

I feel like I know less now than I did before :ROFLMAO:

The app is installable for free in the Play Store. Just install it for yourself and test it. For me, it is a very good alternative to Carista and OBD11 (I own both).
A small downside is the limited access to tutorials.
But anyone who has been in contact with any coding will understand that app and manage.
I am not the creator of the app and do not want to convince here how great it is, see for yourself if you are curious.

I've had the app for several months, and paid for pro, used it multiple times for quick and easy parameter data export and injection in specific situations. I also have VCDS, VCP and ODIS, all genuine and my own devices, not copies or 3rd party access. In fact, I have just finished updating my ODIS to 25.1.0 - The latest version released today for independent workshops that now uses alternative licence types from the usual hardware type that VW Group used until recently.

My comment, dressed in jest, was mainly aimed at this part of your comment "it is not fully functional. It happens that the token does not work or will not be generated." plus your confusing mention that you don't use it for generating tokens but also said that you have used it on MK8 Golf, Octavia IV and Leon KL so which is it, do or do you not use it for SFD token generating?

Really, the answer to the question of if it does SFD lays between "No" and "I don't know" so now you can see why I seemingly have less knowledge on if it does or does not do SFD because your comments float between yes and no.

When unsure, it is often better to say nothing or admit you don't know something.
