Thank youYes, it supports coding in SFD-secured units. Whether it is possible to do everything possible - I do not know. I coded a MY22 Tiguan and there were no problems.
I'd bet my Sunday lunch that Tiguan didn't have an SFD enabled Gateway installed.Yes, it supports coding in SFD-secured units. Whether it is possible to do everything possible - I do not know. I coded a MY22 Tiguan and there were no problems.
SFD1 sureI'd bet my Sunday lunch that Tiguan didn't have an SFD enabled Gateway installed.
Nope, not on a 2022 Tiguan. Wasn't introduced until they switched to the MK3 in 2024 and skipped SFD1 completely. All they did was add the service mode requirement for the bonnet to be open on the MK2.5.SFD1 sure
So the "Get Activation Request" generates the token to input and temporarily deactivated SFD?
Oh yes, Like Superb 3...Nein, nicht beim Tiguan 2022.
And do you have to pay for the tokenSo the "Get Activation Request" generates the token to input and temporarily deactivated SFD?
I feel like I know less now than I did beforeThe application in the Pro version can generate temporary tokens. This function is all the time in development and it is not fully functional. It happens that the token does not work or will not be generated. The app is being updated all the time and many aspects of it are being improved.
Personally, I have my own access to generate original tokens, so I rather not use the generator in the app.
I've had the app for several months, and paid for pro, used it multiple times for quick and easy parameter data export and injection in specific situations. I also have VCDS, VCP and ODIS, all genuine and my own devices, not copies or 3rd party access. In fact, I have just finished updating my ODIS to 25.1.0 - The latest version released today for independent workshops that now uses alternative licence types from the usual hardware type that VW Group used until recently. The app is installable for free in the Play Store. Just install it for yourself and test it. For me, it is a very good alternative to Carista and OBD11 (I own both).
A small downside is the limited access to tutorials.
But anyone who has been in contact with any coding will understand that app and manage.
I am not the creator of the app and do not want to convince here how great it is, see for yourself if you are curious.
