Was just wondering if any1 in West Yorkshire has a spare working n75 valve I could try on my car to see if that is my problem before I buy one?

i had this problem mate, if i put foot down from low revs by the time it got to around 4k it would just make a whoosh noise and then feel like driving just a 1.8 with no boost. and then all of a sudden go back to working normal again.

I dint get limp mode, car still felt smooth as anything just no boost lol, felt weird. what i did was unplug the n75 and it shud run normal still but there will be no boost, then this was exactly the same to what it was doin when it shudent off been, so i narrowed it down to n75 got a new one and never had the problem since :)
worth a try tho mate to unplug it and see what happens.

I have the exact same problem it's so annoying lol, I've done the n249 bypass thought it was this but obviously not! Changed plugs, checked most the pipes I can see no boost leaks etc, my DV is sound, so like Ryanb said I'll try the n75 valve :)

Lol it would be handy to see it it was the problem.. You can do a test tho can't you? Suppose to unplug the n75 valve and drive with it unplugged but they'll be no boost and if it doesn't do it then it's deffos the n75 valve lol

Can you not log the duty cycle on vag com? That would show if n75 was opening early... Think this is what mines doing as well as randomly dumping mid way through 1st and second gear

positive crankcase ventilation.its all them annoying pipes to the inlet ect so remove with a catch can then your engine will breath better without all the crap going back into it
