Kinda hoping someone can help here, What pressures do you have yours at?

I have mine at 32 on the front and 29 on the back as per seat's instruction but to me the front tyres look flat?

Also for the life of me i can't find any notice of them being directional is this just me? I can see they have "inside" marked on them but nothing else?????

i'm pretty sure that by being assy's it means they are not directional but can anyone confirm?

On my way to work this morning the tyre pressure system started "bonging" so i checked them and they were set ay 29, 34, 42,27 psi

muppets!

Running Contisportcontact3's on mine which are also asymmetric. They have OUTSIDE stamped on the tyre wall so the fitters know which way they go on.

32/29 was a bit low for me so I was using 35/32 for a while. Been playing about this week so they're currently set at 33.5/30.5. :)

I have mine at 36 aon the front and 34 on the back, but different people have different preferences

Only thing i'd say is, if you can read the word 'inside' on the tyre then i'd get em changed as its on the wrong way mate and you'll be losing a lot of grip lol

If you have them fitted the wrong way round, it is illegal too mike.

Are the new wheels 18's?

I have 34/31 on my F1 Assy 2's.

Hope you don't meet a big puddle with the tyres mounted the wrong way round.

It's easy to get confused between asymmetrical and directional.

Asymmetrical means that the tyre tread pattern is not symmetrical when you look at it. These types of tyres have different tread blocks on different parts of the tyre. For example, the outside normally has a design to help with cornering but the inside copes better with water. These have OUTSIDE stamped on the sidewall so that they are fitted with the outside of the tyre matching the outside of the wheel. This does not automatically mean that they are directional though as that wheel could go on either side of the car.

Directional tyres usually have a chevron design and can be symmetrical or asymmetrical and will clearly have an arrow on the sidewall showing the direction or rotation.

The old Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's were a directional tyre and symmetrical. They had a chevron pattern and only worked correctly when fitted with the directional arrow rotating the right way. I had these on my old LCR.

I also had the new asymmetrical F1's on my old LCR and I'm pretty sure that they were not directional. Checking the sidewall will tell you.

just my 2c - mine look quite flat regardless of what PSI I have... they look flat even running them at 36 as I do just now... Before I fitted them I have noticed they have very flexible sidewall in comparison to Bridgestones RE050 for example... I guess just the characteristics of this particular tyre...

I though they were very good, at least compared to the original Pirellis. Good grip and reduced the road noise if a little soft. Not tried them on my new Cupra.

I had the Eagle F1 Assy 1's on my ST and they have been the best tyre I've ever used, grip in the wet was too much for my tiny brain to handle at first. After having Michelin PS3's which were supposed to be the ultimate in road tyre, the Goodyears were definitely better, especially when pulling away in the wet with 275bhp going through the front wheels, and quieter too. The Assy 2's will be replacing the stock Pirelli's once they are done, a pretty average tyre IMO.

I order through Blackcircles and get them fitted at Tyre Spot at Team Valley, they seem to be one of the only places that can balance wheels properly first time around here, great service off the guys in there too.

My da recommended getting my new tyres fitted through tyre spot
