Anyone Changed their Steering wheel emblem???

Hi, Just wondered if there is anyone out there that has changed their steering wheel emblem on a Ibiza fr 04???

Mine is all scratched and have a new one to go on but have saw different opinions on if you can change it????

Dealer says new airbag / been told to heat it with hairdryer / been told not to mess about with it or i'll have an airbag exploding in my face!!!! etc etc etc. don't no if it's possible

Any assistance people??

Exterior badges you can remove by heating and dental floss. I would have thought it was just stuck on.

I've seen stickers being applied over the old emblem, not the best solution but the safest!

Hello badger I popped a screwdriver under it and just popped it off (my brother in law is electrical motor mechanic and said it be fine) cant buy a bloody new one thou!!! Just spoke to seat and they said I have to buy a the whole airbag!!!!!!! Cheeky *******

Plan B......... ebay..... No joy, only alloy cap stickers :-( Hopefully I can make something up or breakers or somit..

One for everyone though, you can pop it off, just measure the diameter of the old one and find something close.

problem is its not flat underneath! the emblem is a cap, best way to explain is sort of like a bottle cap so a normal seat sticker would sit on the middle part and theres around a 7mm ish gap with nought for it to stick to..i'll post pics if I can work out how
