anyone done a AAA engine conversion in a mk2?

as long as it was sub 100k with fsh it wouldnt need a rebuild.

should have seen the one i stripped down with half as many miles on it

if you've got it out, rebuild it first

May as well, easier to replace parts when it's out.

yeah def get it rebuilt, if its something you want to do then chances is you will want to keep it, pointless otherwise. and if the car is as tidy as you say you will have a really sweet ride

ive put a vr6 motor in mine!!
not a standard one though. its from tsr and is bored out to 2.9. Trying to sell my car at the moment as i have a wedding to pay for! I must say it makes you smile everytime you drive it however im in a massive rush or a wedding deposit and really need rid now!

maybe you could just buy mine with yours as px! lol
