Anyone fitted an Ebay de-cat?

Hi, just wondering if these actually fit and if they are any good?

Usually there not i know....couldnt help asking cos they are cheap as chips!

i think it depends on your map mate. i bought one and then learnt i couldnt use it with a jabba stage1 remap, you have to get stage two i think! you get a sportscat for stage 1. correct me if im wrong tho!

ive got one sat in my garage ready to go on with a k03s. Bloke i bought it off, second hand ran it with no trouble on k03s and revo stage 2.

All ive got to do now is get a piece of exhaust piping bent to match the 2.5 diameter on the de-cat to the 2.25 supersprint back box and im rolling.

Yeh even if they dont last that long, at 70-80 quid its cheap.

I thought they would be fine to use as it has the two places for the sensors?

well the bloke i had it off ran it on his ibiza cupra, i bought it off the lad with the bo selecter aviater. Why wont it fit then mork?

because it won't clear the bulk head.

Well this is what i posted for really, to see if they fit?

Also with not lasting long i meant cracking etc, ive had downpipes before that cracked all the way around the welds etc....Pain in the arse.

Are you talking about the one in the ebay link at the top? the one for the Golf 4 chassis?

ebay link, thats the one im on about, says Ibiza too in the description although im not sure if a golf/ibiza item is compatible?

The Leon/Golf Pipe will not fit the Ibiza

It will bolt to the turbo... but the pipe will not clear the bulkhead / subframe (the leon uses a different method of mounting the engine)

iv also seen this, looks not to bad for the money, afterall your going to pay £300+ for blueflame etc. it says:

"Will Fit, Golf 1.8T GTI, Beetle 1.8T, Audi TT FWD 1.8T, Audi A3 1.8T, Seat Ibiza 1.8T. Will not fit any Quattro's."

I think the other "possible" problem even when fitting to a LC/Golf etc is that these are American, surely there are some fitting problems with these.

Exsaxoboy ....Yours looks like it drops down further before the bend.

That maybe why?
