Anyone near Brentwood with a VagCom

Is there anyone near Brentwood, Essex with an up to date VagCom and fancies activating a few options on my Supercopa at the price of a drink or 2, A friend of mine has the VagCom but it's an out of date version and couldn't enable some of the options on my car but could for his 09 Golf, I was after the Staging (Needle Sweep), and tilting down mirrors when reverse gear is selected.

Don't think you can do either of these on a Supercopa. I've tried on my own Supercopa with vagcom to no avail. The staging can't be done due to the control module on them.

Now that's strange, my mate tried to activate it but it wouldn't accept the option, now I have just gone to pop out to the shop, turned the ignition and viola I have needle sweep lol

Interesting......did the same for me, it would allow me to select the option but wouldn't accept it! I'm sure there's a few guys on here that have tried with no luck.

Yes this can be done.. I think you could have a dodgy cable.
The first cable I got was like that, would let you select but would not accept the option.
Bought the 12.12 cable and had no problems at all activating needle sweep. Even changed some things on my sons 2014 Audi s3 with it.

Ah right, they seem to be working at the moment so I'm happy with that.
