Hi all

Was wondering if anyone has used Ferodo DS3000 pads for road use ?

Am looking for a set of front pads for the Passat (312mm) and was going to go ahead with DS2500s, but then I read about the DS3000.

Are these useable on the road, or is the cold performance quite poor ?
Also - what about noise/squeal, dust, pad/disc life etc ?

Thanks for any info....:)

How would you say the stone-cold performance compares with OE, and DS2500s ?

Can you give me a price for the DS2500s and the DS3000s, for a 2002 Passat ?
(Has 312mm discs)
PM me if you like !

After some disc recommendations too, would probably like to try some slotted; might help clear some of the salty wet crud that seems to accumulate during winter driving...

Thanks !
