Out driving

Out driving... Still got problems. The maximum boost set in the ECU is 1,45bar in my car, but now im not close to that boost. I understand that the Boost should keep more stable with the Apexi, so that you keep the boost over higer revs? The boost dropps faster than with the original N75.

Any pointers?
 
finally got mine installed! have had too much of a play yet as i dont REALLY understand it!

i can see from above you got annoyed with someone keep asking how to set it up but can you tell me the basic set up and then i will play

ive been reading the manual for about an hour, starting to understand things alittle...keep popping out to the car and trying out what ive been reading!!
think im getting somewhere

but sorry bill im still not sure what you mean by that!? i may already of done it but im not sure what you mean! im guessing its in "setting" or "etc" section!?

if you look at Apexi in monitor view do your revs match your clocks?

What setting should i use in the "car select" screen for "SPD"? 2,4 or 16?

is our throttle open with 3v-5v or closed with 3v-5v? (in other words should the arrow in the same section be pointing up or down?)

ive read the whole manual now i get the jist of using it but not sure on the set up yet

wire id from what you posted so im guessing my the same as you...? so is the arrow up or down?

what about the SPD setting? (speed pulse setting)

Apexi wires ---- car
Red (ign power) - probe by fuse box for a suitable source.
Purple (rpm or inj) - Pin 102/T121 (bk/bl) - smaller ecu connector <<coil for rpm
Green - ground
Black - ground
Grey (throttle sig, 0-5v) - P35/T121 (gy/bl) - larger ecu connector
White (speed signal) - Pin 2/G22 (wh/bl) @ g'box sender

is there a possiblility that the purple wire is incorret?
