lol well i'll bring an umbrella then... Better bring a hammer n some nails as well, get that roof back on while you work on ma car...:) lol

Looks at tho i found the timer remains AGAIN !!! Hummmmmmm

And no im NOT intrested in resetting it to work before i get asked/acused by the installer company,
i just wanted to know was it still there/tracebale after the expirey time.

I must say this thread has made some quite interesting reading :) When I get my LCR in a short while, I'll be using BAS! I was gonna drive to Jabba, because basically, I thought there was no where really closer (I'm near Scarborough), and now I find Pete and BAS are 45 mins away in York - an not a single bad word. Great stuff :)

Cheers

Dan

Edit - Had a question about power, but I answered it myself lookin in the Bell Auto sub forum :)

Not the same but simlar methods of timing/switching of a trial.

But yes it leaved un original data .

Ok, so does the APR trial also cause problems for reading/writing to the ecu via OBD?

BTW, nice forum, great info when you use search function ;)

Thanks

My prices are cheap eniough without a deal. looool

Untill we move to the new MOT station my garage is a very small back street garage, Where i make files for a lot of well knows remap companys in the uk.

So you dont get free coffee, no nice play station to play while i tune your car.
And my prices reflect this.

I will however on your car if nesseary remove the trial data for free on this occasion only and this is only to see the final outcome.

I dont normaly remove time trial data for free as it was not me who put it there in the first place.

why would you have to remove trial data? (let alone charge for it)
can you not flash an ecu with legacy on it?

I guess it does for some tuners, if Bell Auto's needs to do other work first.
Cant say I have an issue overwriting a car which has had someones trial on it when flashing CC. They have written their tool to deal with it. Its not exactly uncommon to find a car with legacy of trials these days. (used cars, 2nd, 3rd owners etc)

CC won't have an issue cause their tool supplier is tops on VAG ecu's
