APR r1 dv fault

hi guys, anyone know what the symptoms of a faulty apr r1 diverter valve would be, i know they had a dodgy batch of these, anyone know what the dodgy batch was please... having some boost issues and changed most things, just read a little on the dodgy batch of these and wondering if i have one.

I think the insides where moving/ rotating. Should be obvious if you wip it off and have a look/test

and how would this make it run matey?

seems to let off at part revs sometimes, and throttle hesitation
