Arb rubbing driveshaft!

Do what my friend did, Metal Droplinks needed to be shorter, so i cut them in half removed a chunk and welded back together 
Sorry to crash the thread. What is the adjustable ARB for? Why adjustable?

Same here but I cut them down and re tapped them so they are still adjustable

Fitted the whiteline front arb yesterday and all i can say is the ride feels much better than having the OE LC ARB. The Rubbing has gone plus no more banging noises when i go over humps..
The whiteline ARB for the LC had 2 holes at the end of each side of the ARB which i think is the 2 settings for stiffness? I used the holes further from the end of the ARB which i believe is the stiffer setting. CORRECT me if im wrong.
Overall the body roll seems reduced but im just very happy i dont have to worry about rubbing the DS to shreds.
