Bought a conversion kit which got delivered Monday so i was excited to get them in. Will only get the change tomorrow.

Now i have them i see a lot of comments on various forums stating that the glare from HID's in reflector laps rather than projector is terrible.

Is bad glare and beam patterns down to installation and not being leveled properly or is it a fundamental problem of having HID's in reflector lamps?

Your thought please :)

Mine failed the Irish version of the Mot because they could not detect a proper beam pattern and it's something that annoys me to whenever I drive up to the house and the pattern is all jaged, I would be interested finding where I can get decent bulbs from.

Where did you stick your ballasts rsmith?

im rather undecided where to put mine!

*EDIT* -

O/S fitted in slot down cover behind light and in front of battery cover = out of sight
N/S bracket attached to washer bottle securing screw.

Hardest part was getting the damn retaining clips back on due t the wires on the back of the bulbs!! lol!!

Now i really need to change those sidelights!!
