Hello Arosa owners

My sister's just joined the VAG fold with her first car - a VW Lupo

Not been in a Lupo (or Arosa) before and I've gotta say ... I'm a little envious - for the money, what a great little car

Anyway - the point

She got it cheap, I'm guessing, cos it was one of the last 2000 E models that didn't have PAS as standard

Any idea how easy it would be to swap a rack and pump from a model with PAS ? Would this work from an electrics point of view ?

Any advice greatly appreciated - she's happy with the car otherwise, but it'll be due a belt service soon no doubt, so though the power steering option might be worth investigating

Hehe, Arosas are better ;) Even the oldest base model ones had PAS...

Retro fitting wise - I guess its feasible...I know of someone who removed it, but not fitted it in though. No idea where you'd start though!

Mine is R reg and has PAS. I think I read somewhere that the Arosa was one of the car around that time that came with PAS as standard, not sure about the lupo's though.

I'll be breaking a mk1 Arosa soon which will have all the bits - I'll need some of them, but a few bits should be left :)
