Hello all,

Used to be on here ages ago, when I had a mk4 ibiza, since then had plenty of other vag tdi stuff, now got an Smax titanium (4 kids) and a mk3 cupra for myself!

Stuff already done to car when I bought it:

Rs tuning map, a dyno printout 205bhp
Cat back exhaust
Green panel filter,
Forge tip
Uprated actuator
Lowered on supersport damper and spring kit
Front upper and lower braces.
Grooved discs,
Colour coded rub strips

Jobs to do are:

Drivers window switch to repair
Traction control and abs light on

Future plans,

Not too clued up on the 20Vt engine yet, I'm researching but I thinking something along the lines of:

2.5" downpipe/decat
Forge recirc dv
70mm jetex filter
Fmic
4bar fpr, ko3s stage 2 map, will that make 230bhp?

What about fuel pump, MAF and injectors?

Other jobs to do will be:

Oil + filter
Fuel filter
Cambelt/water pump,
Pickup pipe (do these suffer with sludge)?
Remove rear wiper,
New front wiper blades
New plates and silver indicators
Oh and refurb wheels in anthracite,

Think that's About it, will get some pics up in morning

Sounds like a well spec'd car, very similar to my old one.

4bar fuel pump is a worth while upgrade if planning on going stage 2.
(Shameless plug but I have mine for sale, plus a few other bits left over lol.)

Will be good to see some pictures.

Was a good buy, only 86k miles with fsh too.

Got a rattle on the exhaust, on the rear beam on closer inspection the backbox rubber has snapped,

Will get that sorted, noticed its a power flow exhaust :( not keen on it, so will be looking for blueflame or miltek

It feels a very hard bumpy ride too, but sloppy, probs need new bushes and dampers.

De-wipered it today, removed spare wheel and cd changer,

Also noticed is got arch extensions on! I didn't even realise when I bought it! Do I risk pulling them off or leave them on?

Just bought a MK3 Ibiza Cupra.....

Fmic and pipes bought,

Also noticed it's got 20mm H&R rear spacers on but wheels still tuck due to arch extensions,

Things to pick up Monday:

New front wiper blades
New oil pick up pipe
Millers quantum platinum 5w40
Sump sealant
Oil filter
Fuel filter

Then it will be a decent detail and deep clean of the interior. And paint the wheel anthracite and redo calipers too!

Not much to report, JR filter received from Badger5, took 5 mins to fit, just got to sort out a custom heat shield now.

Looking good mate, iirc as its been years ago since i did mine. I think i 1st had a filter on the end of breather but since then ive removed sai & pump along with evap & carbon cannister so breather was binned then

Thanks for reply,

More stuff for me to bin then, hopefully fitting fmic in week and removing air con so will look up how to remove Sai and carbon canister too

Cheers

Hard to tell from that pic but you can get rid of the unit over the coil packs & solder 2 resisters in place of the electrical connector to keep the ecu clear of codes. Theres quite a few guides on here, did mine many years ago now

Will look into it, want to do Sai delete and carbon canister delete,

Fitted my uni intercooler today,

Ended up chopping the bumper as I mounted it too far forward, never mind, I want to adjust the pipe work to so it goes down driver side first
