nothing to do with photoshop, yeah got HID's but there only on side lights! badge came out a while ago, meant to put it back in but keep forgetting!

pretty obvious to a keen eye that its two pictures, one with the bonnet up and then you reduced the opaque value in the other

was the photo taken on a normal camera . ie film

double exposed , took a pic , would film back , lifted bonnet retook pic ( camera on tripod naturally ??

so your saying that you didn't take two pictures....one with bonnet closed and one with bonnet up (yes you did, i'm right so far), layer one on top of the other and then reduce the opaque or add transparency to the bonnet in each pic

i can see half the bonnet in the windscreen lol

either way this would have given the same effect

the way you describe would prob give the same affect, but would involve so much more.

Theres a slight blur on the drivers side and its taken by a cannon ixus, so it has to be a long exposure shot with the bonnet up first then dropped.

Nice tho however you done it.

YEAH!!! Phil ya got it almost rite! lol

i was stood on passenger side, did well to stay out the shot. had ixus camera yeah, on long exposure, started with bonnet up then shut it quickly. was up longer than down, the effect we got was far better than we thought it was going to be!

my mate mike helped out with taking the picture!

good guessing guys! lol. i'm suprised it took you all so long to get to the end of it!
