at what rpm to change gear oon ibiza cupra

hi guys just wondering whats the best rpm to change gear at on an ibiza cupra! i.e to keep in the powerband and gain most performance?

would like to know this for 1/4 mile etc

my car has ko3s turbo, FMIC, 3"d/p, jabba remap etc!

also whats the limiter set at

I guess so, as long as it's not dropped him into 'off boost' for the next cog

surely you can tell by driving it? seems a stoopid question really (no offence) as i would think it would be alot different to standard with those mods and driving it would be the only proper way to tell,

I was thinking the exact same thing just the other day! However I would have thought the tail off of power wouldnt be as bad with your mods!

Mine just has a remap on Ko3 and I constantly wonder whether to take it to 6600 or just hit 5500 then change! I do tend to have a happy medium and just change at 6000! lol.

I always thought you should change gear around where the peak power is

was ragging mrsB lupo round castle combe today and when plodding using the torque changed at 5500-6000rpm max...

on the quarter mile I find it best to change as close to the limiter as possible.
my peak power is at 6600 but mostly change at 7000.

best thing to do, try different runs changing at different rpms and see which is quicker.
