An Ateca has come up locally that I am interested in and might go to view.

Only problem is, it has side steps fitted, which I personally don't like at all.

My question is, are these fitted to already existing mounting hardware on the car, and so are easy to remove? Or will the car have had holes drilled or permanent modifications made to fit the steps?

Cheers.

I have looked at getting this fitted. From what I can see it’s spacers and hex bolts that fit into holes that are already there with maybe one each side that new. All easy to re bung and seal. I reckon a ramp would help. Or when you go and see it have a lay down and torch and view it.
