Hi all
This old chestnut again. My battery was disconnected when I recently had the alternator clutch pulley replaced. I don't have the radio code and the local Seat dealership wants £25 and to have the car for half hour (might as well be a whole day around work times). Bit disappointed they wouldn't do it for free considering they have done the servicing on it for most of its life!
Anyway,....
My serial code is : * SEZ2Z6B1508139 * it's on a MK1 Leon and is the standard Aura headset with factory fitted multi-changer.
There's no code in the books, car paper-work, under the ash-tray or on the unit itself, etc. There are several websites online that claim to do it via downloaded software or if you provide them the serial code. If someone can provide a code that would be great! If not can anyone recommend a reliable website or cheaper way of doing it????
Anyone used one of these???
www dot radio-code.co.uk
www dot instant-radio-code.co.uk
www dot radiocodes.co.uk
Any help with this would be much appreciated!
PS. I couldn't see anything on this in the FAQ's and thanks to old posts now know all about removing the radio and how to enter the code. Esp. now that it's in safe mode following my tampering!
