I’ve had the same problem please let me know what’s happening as I’m meant to be collecting the car in the morning but I will only accept it if paddles get fittedHi,
Can anyone tell me if there's any automatic leons that don't have flappy paddles?
The reason I ask is I've just been to the dealers and there's a car in their holding area exact same spec we ordered, eclipse orange, FR, 18" PUM wheels. But it doesn't have flappy paddles. We ordered the 2.0l 190ps dsg which is supposed to have paddles.
Do you think they will fit the correct steering wheel?Hi,
We picked ours up wednesday. I pointed out the problem and they got straight onto SEAT about it.
this is the email i got from the dealers.
We have raised a complaint with SEAT and they are aware of the situation as your car is not the only one.
They are in the process of coming up with a solution to rectify it.

What sort of good Will gesture? They will have to as that is what is required for a DSG car. The car has been
Built incorrectly therefore they have no option but to correct it.
I would also be looking for a goodwill gesture from Seat UK for the inconvenience and the fact the car was built incorrectly.

When my car was written off in transit I got £50 in M&S vouchers lol.![]()
They do talk about comfort food. Lol. Or was that to buy the missus some underwear to take your mind off the car![]()
Is it just a case of them retrofitting the steering wheel if the looming is present?
Mines a 2.0TSI 190bhp DSG
Unfortunately I’m not sure they will be changing any of the steering wheels, I find out tomorow just what they are going to do so will keep postedI really do hope so, thats what im lead to believe by the dealer. Apparently they have a company in the UK that comes and fits them. Dont know how true this is.
Like yourself, I had to choose an auto as the missus wants to get back into driving, she hasnt been able to drive since an accident in 2008, so had to be a auto.
Ill be mighty peeved if they dont change it over.
