Aux In On Older HU?

I had a look around before posting, But i have an 2002 Ibiza and i am wanting to connect my IPod up to my HU, Mine doesnt have the AUX or CD6 buttons. Mine has TAPE. Would i still be able to use my IPod via that button with an 8 PIN connection like this.....

Thats the lead for the ALANA head unit with CD6 or aux button - not sure if the older head unit is the same lead. Is yours a mk3 or mk4 ibiza ? - i thought all mk4's had the alana.

Yes mine a MK4 with the Alana HU. But mine has the 4 buttons, RDS, FM, Tape, CD. So not sure if it can run off the Tape source.
