hi i have an aux port and a standard satnav unit. when connected i get no sound. there i a lead from the port going i guess to the unit. are there any faults on this particular unit with aux. the rest of the unit is fine.thanks:confused:

yes mate been fingering it but not getting any joy. where does the aux connect to?

Don't know never been there, assume must be back off the head unit......there is also a AUX device +/- Gain volume control.
Switch Head Unit on, select source as AUX, press left one of the botom six buttons, turn volume knob left/right, gains -5 to +5

I play my mobile phone music this way

p.s. you are using the correct sort of cable/plug aren't you.... a stereo one as used in mp3 players headphones?

Have you tried a MP3 player, mobile phone, walkman or anything in the Aux socket as a test

There's an option to turn 'AUX' off in the PROG menu on the stereo.
Make sure it's turned on!
