I hope Awsome have gone quiet due to being in touch with there solicitors.
I can see the headlines now: A 12 year old forum use lost in court to today claiming "it wasn't me the big boys told me to do it"

And "I read it somewhere so believed it was true"

Having said that, I read somewhere about I giant egg falling off a wall, and all the kings horses couldn't put it back together. That must be true too.

Didn't someone write that the earth was going to implode a few years back? That must be true too, that and we are all writing on here with wings and a harp.

Then there was the one about weapons of mass destruction. That one cause all kinds of trouble.
Someone told me that you can use um bongo as a bio fuel. That's what they do in the Congo.

what a joke!!

No, the joke is you guys paying £625 for a clutch kit which appears to be available on eBay for £595 from Techniclutch, so not only are you paying £30 more, the product is suspect and many people have had failures with Techniclutch kits (although some people have been fine with them; it's hit and miss).

My mate has the Awesome clutch - it did come with a Techniclutch sticker on it. He's running hybrid power and it seems to be ok

Awesome have not denied they are using Techniclutch kits, and won't admit it either.

Lol. Just because they've used red paint on the cover, it's a techniclutch.

That means on that basis, that ferrari's that are red must be a Royal mail van. They're red too.

The phrase "No such thing as bad publicity" springs to mind.

Well with these kits now flying off the shelf I guess time will tell how good the kits are as iam guessing we will be getting feedback from the buyers :D

But for the extra £30 even if that is the case, you get awesome customer service and warranty. I can imagine that wouldn't be the case with the eBay seller selling the kits.

So to sum this thread up (for new subscribers) so they have no need to read back through 400 pages is.....

Well, I'm getting a hunch (correct me if I'm wrong here) a 'slight' chance leon2012 is not too keen on these kits, whereas 99.9 % of folks....EVERYONE in the world bar him is happy with it..... ;-)

Hmm I dont want one now, the odds are totally stacked against the kit! What are my options now??? :-(

I'll give leon2012 this though, at least his not given in to peer pressure and standing by what he believes, whether his right or wrong is a different matter though

Quick question for the awesome clutch buyers ? Are you fitting yourselves or getting awesome to fit ?

So we know about techniclutches.

Now Leon, where is YOUR proof of these being techniclutches? Not as found by google, your conclusive evidence. UK law being innocent until proven guilty.

Mine was fitted by a local clutch specialist. If I had the skills and confidence I would had done it myself. Unfortunately Awesome are too far for me to drive to get it done there although they do offer a nice price for fitting
