Cool, when you do can we have a picture guide please ?
I'll do my best. I have a habit of forgetting whilst halfway through as I work quite quickly.

To be honest mate I don't feel a massive difference in the revs picking up and dropping like some say but you can sense it revving more freely. The only issue is that my clutch was slipping and I got use to the car driving like crap so the difference when this one was fitted felt immense. It does everything I need and want it to do which is why I am especially happy with it and the customer service from Al in particular at Awesome GTI has been truely great
Do you think the fly wheels have not been lightened as much as some kits to get around the chatter and driveability problems?
Hi Chris,
Could you post up a pic of the Awesome clutch with the Techniclutch sticker on, if it's not too much trouble, as the forum members at Seatcupra.net don't believe you.

Cheers
I have joined Briskoda.net and asked for a pic of the Awesome kit with Techniclutch sticker on:

The poster, Chriswaite130 is a regular poster there, he posted about it having the sticker on 4th April, and has no reason to have made it up.
Chriswaite130 doesn;t run the Awesome clutch.
No, but his mate does and they might well have taken pics of the clutch and installation, as do many people.
I've got the awesome kit, cant fault it at all and if i have an issue i know that i can resolve it with awesome either on the phone or face to face. Mines being holding 402lbs of torque at bay with no ill effects at all, my review of it is 100% positive. It could have been made in a shed in someones garden for all i care all i know is that it works perfectly well and that it was purchased from a reputable company.

Thanks for the feed back how many miles have you done with it fitted?
Yeh thats all well and good, but what stickers did it have on it. FFS you can't post reasoned, thought out arguments on here. Unless you have pictures of a golden delicious sticker on it, or you heard that a guy with a different car, in a different county, who uses a a different forum, might possibly have had a sticker on his.
Imagine thinking that a decent product from a decent company has any place here![]()
Well I know of 2 people who will be laughing about this....James Cotton, MD of Awesome GTI, and John Fisher, MD of Techniclutch .....yeah laughing all the way to the bank....!
Especially John Fisher as he's already folded the previous company, liquidated it (probably owing creditors), then started a new company with a slightly different name - that's the only reason you would reform a company with a slightly different name.
From Companies House:
"NATIONWIDE CLUTCH DISTRIBUTORS LTD In Liquidation (Late 2004)"
Just add "uk" to the name and start it again!
"NATIONWIDE CLUTCH DISTRIBUTORS UK LTD Active (since Late 2004)"

"Techniclutch" is a trading name of "NATIONWIDE CLUTCH DISTRIBUTORS UK LTD", and the business has declared only £20 in the bank, lol, whereas Awesome declared nearly £81,000 in the bank, so as such a stand up company, I'm very surprised they've got involved with Techniclutch at all![]()
