there are markings on the exhaust where to cut the original exhaust it put on before the rear suspension but less joines means less chance of it rusting. any back box for an ibiza mk4 will fit as the route it goes is the same so if you got a milltek cat back with right size reducer onto your cat all is good and it should sound better. took me 2o mins to cut through my old exhaust with junior hacksaw but ver simple job to do!

Hmmmm interesting, I did check milltek (very nice exhausts) but they only had Cupra and Fr, So if i buy one of them, and then get a reducer, it'll fit perfect???
Now just to find a reducer?

there is no reason it wont might reduce back pressure a bit as its only a 1.4 but it will physically fit i would think as cat back is the same length and shape on all the cars

yea know what you mean but thats reason they dont list them for 1.4 no designed to work on that engine to give performance gain

if i had a 1.4 again and wanted a sportyer sound than standard and a suttle look than standard and probably better performance than standard id go for a cupra of fr rear box! will look better and sound a bit better and not 1 tone poo!

50 quid an hour and one hour at least plus new cupra back box is gonna be kaching

I don't think that stealers normally have wealding equipment

go to an exhaust fitters mate they have all the tools and will do it in no time, even if the stealers do it the warranty on your exhaust will be void

get it done at a local garage you trust and have heard good comments about! will be cheaper than the STEALers kwick fit are normally a bunch of no nothing monkeys!
