oh cool can i do it with a diagnostics kit at work its a snap on system! mine dont beep when i lock it and dont beep if i smack it either

it does clear codes display faults and it has a customise option too maybe alarm option is in there are you sure its suppost to beep tho any1 with a cupra beezer rest my mind?

The alarm is the same on all the SEAT range that is alarmed.
Mine does it and so does evry other VAG car i've tried it on.
You need to access the central convenience unit and adjust the block to read 1 instead of 0 on the correct module.

block?? to read 1 instead of 0?? you mean change the customise setting for the alarm to 1 instead of 0 ive never noticed this on the vag cars ive worked on or seen  il ask around at the vag meet on the 22nd see what otherppl have got standard!

this sounds rather interesting...if you could get some info for me too...i want my dealer to set this up for me in may when i get it serviced...i want it to beep when i lock/unlock the car as the lights are useless too quick and can't always hear what it's done! pitty can't do it from under the dash like what davels says, would be rather cool to get it set up tho!

im still going to need the start up button as this is really annoying in the morning! and when im at the destination i have to sit there and wait for a bit when i cant be arsed

Off the top of my head....
Select control module
Access 46 (conveneince unit)
Go through the groups till it says something like "activate alarm on lock" and unlock is the next one.
change the 0 to a 1 and press save.
easy

I know this works as i have done it a dozen times using Vagcom.
My mate contacted his dealer to ask if they would do it and they said it would cost £24.99. I did it for nothing in 5 mins.

il have a go at work sometime soon chers matey!

you would have thought they would be set on sensitive from the factory! why have an alarmif your not going to use it to its full potential

but my alarm will go off if i activate the alarm with me in it after a while of sitting still then moving it triggers it or if i have the window open and some1 goes near it? so it cant be that

Get a clifford alarm.

950 is the one with all the gizmo's and intellistart and turbo timer ma'larky. Your looking about £600-£750 fitted

The 650 with blackjax is the one I have, doens't remote start but the anti-hijack stuff is ace and I have the proximity sensors. But with fitting the ihi the 950 is your best bet. Friend of mine has customised his clifford 950 because he's far too clever and he can rev his engine from his key fob and probably turns the kettle on when he gets in. So you can programme the clifford alarm to do a multitude of things. Deffo worth the money and piece of mind.

i fink this is what il go for i can get it fitted at work by a company electrican for peanuts so that should harshen the more wallet damage

don't forget dead locks release on second press too. i meant a button under the dash somewhere tho :D

The later Ibiza's - like Rash's and my old one don't have the button in the footwell - it was removed. You now turn the sensors off and release the deadlocks by double-pressing the lock button as mentioned earlier in the thread.

i tryed to use the diagnostics kit at work to change the settings (sensitivity) on the alarm but it wasnt having any of it! WHAT A WASTE OF A LUNCH BREAK  il get seat to try it when im next in there getting ripped off
