Hi,

Going to refresh the suspension on mk1 cupra, its had the badger5 treatment on the engine but the suspension is standard and pretty tired now and i think i might have a snapped spring aswell.

What setup is good and cost effective? Was thinking maybe bilstein b4's with eibach sportline or pro kit springs.

Want the ride to be not too harsh but obviously want better handling

Any thoughts or opinions?

Thanks

Sounds a good setup, I have Eibach pro kit on mine, gives a practical ride height, good for bumpy b roads lol

Whats the differences between the cupra and LCR suspension? I have regular use of an LCR and it handles very well on its standard suspension but it looks like the track is wider? Do they have different wishbones or it there more to it? What bits would i need to get an LCR setup? I also assume the rear suspension is totally the same with just different shock/springs but geometry is the same, is this correct?

Thanks

Also have read something about a lower strut brace on the LCR but havent seen this (i have changed springs and drop links ect on an LCR) what is this? Also i assume there is a difference in arb since this attaches to the shock on an LCR.
