the 007 is a piston design too

In which case the website I looked is wrong. I stand corrected.

Can you get the Bailey in Black?

When I get round to upgrading mine I'll be getting a black one. I don't want to shout at my servicing place that I've changed it.

I got my Forge DV from the Autosport International show at the NEC this year. Forge had a stand there. The staff were great and I bought the DV from them there and then for £60 cash. That's a good price. If you're thinking of getting a DV and you are going to the show it might be worth hanging on a while.

The show is on the 13th and 14th of Jan next year and I'm hoping to get one for the same price for my new LCR.

The show is good btw.

I have the definitive answer, stay away from the Bailey's :D If you had asked me 6 weeks ago i would have defended the valve, but not now:(

I have had a baileys DV30 fitted for the past 2 years without a problem. In the last month or so on a daily basis the 1st 5-10miles i am getting a horrible wastegate chatter noise!

The valve then after 5-10 miles works again as normal but its very annoying every morning not to be able to drive at positive boost pressure until the valve sorts itself out and operates again as normal! I dare not go under full boost with the valve when its in this condition!

My 007p arrived about an hour ago in the post so im just about to fit that!

The bailey's is being chucked in the bin!

I do believe badger bill has also had problems with bailey recircs in the past!

Well thats whats happening mate, and i do know that wastegate chatter noise is bad for your turbo!

I think the valve is sticking, not leaking

Right stupid question time, how do i take the top off of the forge to check the spring? Is it unscrew or pull off?

have tried both but to no luck.

Fp007 is unscrew, 006 has alen bolts I think

Serviced mine this morning and reversed. One advantage of reversing is that the top pipe does not get worn any more.

Both Forge and Bailey can stick - ask Songman, he fitted a Forge and it blew his IHI turbo because it didn't open! Simple case of opening them both up, cleaning and re-greasing, doesn't make one worse than the other.

Forge have amazing customer service and make great products, I just prefer the sound of the Bailey.

Its a special high temp greese. If you have a Forge then you can e-mail the nice guys at Forge they will probably send you a sachet. Lasts for a few services (at 10k intervals)
