BAM will it fit???

am ready to go get the engine and a phoned up my friend to get the van, and he said if its the same engine code cause the BAM engine will fit but all the seners are diffrent and something to do with the throtle cable. if a buy this engine a cant take it back so a will loose out. has anyone put a BAM into a AMK lcr? as a cant aford to loose out. are use 100% sure it will be ok? thanks michael
