Dropped FR TDI for 10,000 mile service at 0930 this morning. Was asked at desk was there any damage on the car, informed them none and all alloys are in perfect condition. Was shown to my courtesy car, Ibiza (note: I booked this at the time of arranging service the week before).
Had a call at 1315 to say the car was ready for pickup. Arrived and did the paperwork and went to my car had a look round to check bodywork and alloys. All as I left it earlier, only 2 extra miles on the clock. The service book was on the passenger seat filled out and stamped.

Service desk staff were very pleasant to deal with and I can say I'm a satisfied customer.

Score 9/10 : Mark them down one point for some light dust/dirt on passenger seat from whoever sat in the car to get the service book. It easily was removed with a wipe down when got home.

My Leon Cupra needed a repair under warranty - the CD auto changer went the way of other Leon CD auto changers (if a search on these forums is anything to go by). Somewhat sceptical, based on the experiences of people I know (and a negative car mat experience I had with their Parts department), I have to say I am pleasantly surprised at the good and friendly service I received from the Service department staff at Barlows.

I work less than 5 minutes away and they accommodated me dropping by after work and waiting for both a confirmed diagnosis and the replacement to be fitted a few days later. They looked after my car (I was asked whether there was any damage before they took it - there wasn't, and it came back with no damage) and the desk and service staff were friendly and open. The warranty side of things was sorted smoothly, and I have my music back now :D

The parking is still dreadful in the cul-de-sac they're in, though. Has me on edge whenever I've been there - 3x3 deep at its worst :(

Barlows Wolverhampton

Just phoned Barlows after Colliers Birmingham quoted me £650 for a 60k service. Barlows do the same service with Cam Belt change for about £200 less. Not only that but the girl on the phone was actually helpful.
