did you put it down the side or back? some say that on the side it is more likely to get wet and oxidate/cause faults however I've had it there for a few months and its still perfectly fine...

i've put it down the side for now, with the HID box. but once i relocate the battery to the boot, i'll think about covering it and putting it somewhere else, so that it doesn't get wet. especially with winter being here! :) looks a lot tidier though

i think i'm going to go for the minimal look, i'm going to re route the intercooler pipework then i think it'll be the loom getting attacked. also rather than polishing the inlet and cam cover i'm going to paint them as my last project was polished so am going for something different with this one.
 
yea i washed it then it went white? i'm looking to either get a new one or see if i can get a plastic mk4 golf one.
