battery relocation and air scoop fitted. now finished

Sam, is that getting cold air to the filter as its pointing just away from the filter. also, would you have water issues (MAF problems) if it was raining and the hose is facing the filter?

sal. im not doing this for cold air as its a waste of time im doing it for more air flow if that makes sence. i have a trumpet on its way, for the end of the feed pipe then i can fit it in position. all cone filters suck up a little water but im sure it wont be a lot, also when it reaches the turbo its going to evaporate. i did this for looks mainly as i know i wouldnt see a performance gain

by the way the whole set up works well. earlier today i took the mrs hair dryer out, blow air at the front grille, and you can feel the air coming out the end of the feed pipe quite strong so there you go proven results lol

hes just painted the front cover red left the back bit factory black and the fuse box on top of the battery as been carboned

wayne my battery cover needs respraying, also going to spray the little cover on top. what colour do you think. im thinking white?

Whole White battery will be to much I done mine gloss black and the top bit white, then changed to matt black like the rest of my bay ie washer bottle collant tank etc

the only thing that worries me, is the white goin to be too much, at the moment the red and white look quite evenly balanced. maybe if i respray the battery cover and top cover red. if someone could photo shop it for me that would help
by the way i spoke to phil and that catch can will be ok, he said all the cans are the same, its the fitting that are different

All white batt cover will be to much do the top fuse part White and the cover red as you have it , looks smart at the min , red washer bottle White top red header tank White top

Quick Q how easy did you guys find removing the plastic bits. That the OEM air scoop slotted into??
Also bits by passenger headlight that ran OEM air feed to airbox
Have put in 76mm air feed from box down to headlight just removing all plastic stuff looks bit of a mission
Also gonna build air scoop paper mache mould then out of glass fibre

Beware that's a deisel battery which is bigger than a petrol battery
