BCS powervalve sound

I like mine too.

dyno'd vs the miltek res catback and identical power.. but sounds so much nicer

quiet with nice tone until you give it some boost.. and it wakes up.. sounds like a proper car

I was a bit unsure of the powervalve at first because it was only loud when it is on boost.....but there's so many positives!!

Sounds so good, quiet when just cruising around/idling and the tone is always changing


My mate drove past me about 5 or 6 times and it sounded different every time!

Bit off topic, but do you find that the exhaust tends to cackle/pop more in the warmer weather?

Was this aimed at me? The weather has been decent since I've had it so can't really judge it lol

Pushed my Cupra to max on second and third gear....my colleague was standing on the road side when I passed him
He said " your intake (EVOMS) was so loud that I did not hear your BCS system"

Aaaaah I was worried about that with my revo when I get it fitted

mines louder at the back than the front for sure..
the bcs valve starts to open at 5psi and is fully open at 10psi if like mine (tested it)

The sound deadening is pretty good in the car like lol!

My mates R32 used to have a valve on the standard exhaust. I always said it sounded too loud for standard but was still lush (see video below). He took it into VW for a service and when he got it back the service adviser said they had found a fault with the exhaust valve and replaced it FOC on the warranty. Sounded quiet after that, he was devastated
