Black LCR 225
I have recently purchased a becker for my mk1 leon plugged it in etc, put the code in all works fine,

However when i come out the car, lock the car, then go back in the car later on its asking me for the code again?

Any you guys know why its doing it, its not like someones disconnecting the battery

Cheers craig

maybe its the same as my old kenwood, two wires on the back once switched around with each other, for exmple it never used to keep memory, with red to red wire and yellow to yellow wire, once witched o make red to yellow and yellow to red it saved everytime
maybe this is your problem?

You have a becker dont you, ive just studied the wiring diagram on in the becker manual and it is wrong, the car harness is different to the becker diagram both the acc and the positive are wrong way round hence i need to swap them, like you would on any other aftermarket headunit.

I don't but Jonjay does - i don't think the wires will be too hard to swap around otherwise you get an ISO harness and do the swap on that - handy if you don't want to modify the cars standard loom.

I had that problem with my Grand Prix until I bought an additional extension adaptor and switched the wires on that, but then I discovered that there's no GAL link in it. Not a great loss, but something that you should look out for.
