Just a quick one here.

Ive just bought a Helix uprated clutch and single mass set up.

Its being fitted on Thursday (as long as it turns up on time).

My question:

How many miles (approximately) does it take for the clutch to bed in before i can "use" it?

Thanks,

Tom.

Hiya Tom.

I have the same set up you are going for, and when I question Awesome about it im sure they said something like 1,000 miles! Perhaps 500 miles of 'traffic' style driving, with the added few motorway miles (obv its the selecting part that 'wears' them in)

Always best to give Awesome a call just to confirm :)

The SMF is noticeably loud yes, but only with the clutch engaged. You can hear it slightly in first and second, but to be fair, you get used to it.

To be fair, its a fantastic setup, and well worth it, as long as you can live with the bit of noise it makes.
