Beeza MK3 Battery Dead...

Hi Peeps,

As above, if I leave Ibiza standing for like 2 days, the battery dies. She's done about 57K, could the battery of had its day or is it likely to be something deeper, more technical?? Not very up on batteries, do they come to a point where they do not hold their charge anymore?

Any info would be great,

battery life is roughly 3 years

anything better than that and i'd be happy at having to change it.

go to euro car parts, they have a good selection of well priced batteries

might be a dead battery or a drain somewhere, swap with sels and see....

my battiery is over 4 years old and i have noticed if i got the indicators on and the inside light on , the inside light dims to the beat of the indicators ????? me think my bat is on its way too
but i hope its not the altinator

Well I have had the car just over a year, so for all I know the battery is 14 months old or its still the original. Do you get varied quality of batteries or can I just pick one up from my local Motorist Centre....

Iv got the same problem, Is it just a bad earth ?? or a problem with the power supply (battery,alternator etc)

local motorist centre should be fine mike. but i would want to swap for another first before spending out as they aint too cheap.

Mike pop over sat and you can try mine, if you like i will hook up your boost guage at same time so you just have to add your pod at a later date!

I put a new bat on me motor on sunday, cracked my other 1!!!

£35 3year garentee and about 1mile from my house, looks alot better than the standard 1 as well, its black not clear white!!

That'd be cool, will need to be around lunchtime though? cos we are off out in the evening..plus its dark so...

But a thought, cant realyl swap batteries with you can I, its not like it dies instantly, and I don't want you to wake up on Sunday with a dead car. lol

But still pop over, would be good to have a nose at your car..
