So got round to fitting the door cards today. Fairly simple job in the end just time consuming.

We all know what they look like. The rear door cards were an absolute c**t. For anyone wondering how to remove them there are two screws behind the grabhandle. I managed to get the window winder off using a small knife. There is a small clip inside that you need to unhook. Then you just pull like mad. A lot of the clips broke or stayed in the door but i had spares from my new door cards. Proof that these rear door cards are welded on:

I'm now looking into getting my A, B and C pillars in black, then onto the headlining, grabhandles and sunvisors. Does anyone know if these are available for a 5 door? I assume the C pillar would be different to a 3 door.

Not much to update. Trying to keep the car relatively clean.

Was my 21st yesterday and the girlfriend got me tickets to the ultimate street car show in santa pod in August. Anyone been to this before?

Would the 3 door stuff even fit a 5 door though?

It's horrible mate, don't get black lining it's very dingy inside! I test drive a car with black lining and it was quite distracting. Especially with black seats and door cards

Sam.

Surely you'll get used to it though. When I put the black seats and door cards in it took a few days for it to stop distracting me. Does the black make it look less 'cheap' if you know what I mean?
