Depends what you're looking for a car to keep after the pcp deal is up or looking to change every 2 years or so? Lease monthlys are nearly always cheaper, I paid 131 a month on my Cupra 290BE, now got an s4 for 280 including about 40 a month in options, its all to do with what deals are around, I don't look for a perticular car, I look for what deals are floating about then go for the car which I fancyNever looked into leasing b4 so you recon it’s a lot cheaper ?
Go onto whatcar.com they have comparison website which will list all the main dealers. Just put in your expected mileage and what down payment you are intending to put down say a 3+35 contact based on 8k per year non maintained would be about £906 to put down and then around £302 with no admin fees and delivered to your door. Unless you want to put a larger down payment down to lower you monthly paymentsGreat way bud thank you where’s the best place to go looking ??
If there are any squaddies or international diplomats reading this... I don’t think you’ll ever see a better deal?
Knew it was too good to be trueThat’s for personnel based overseas, where personnel have a tax free vehicle allowance. Their sister site DDS Cars has the tax paid prices (for uniformed personnel, including blue light and vets) at c.£21.5k for 5dr. https://www.ddscars.co.uk/
Yup, never thought I ended up with a Volvo V40 (£222/month6+23) (always thought it would have been another Leon/Arona/Ibiza/Polo type cars). Randomly I would also see good deals for Audi A3 Black Edition.its all to do with what deals are around, I don't look for a perticular car, I look for what deals are floating about then go for the car which I fancy
This is for people overseas working under NATO or Diplomatic posts where they have access to diplomatic plates to avoid tax, been this price for months. If there are any squaddies or international diplomats reading this... I don’t think you’ll ever see a better deal?
It can’t be lower value than guaranteed.there was a big article on PCP last week or the week before about how its becoming pointless as when the car is ready to be handed back the value is much lower than guaranteed therefore another deposit amount is required. used car values are falling faster than ever for modern cars. best way now in my eyes is a lease or buy a car at 3 years old, but even then you will be paying the same monthly probably as a brand new car on a lease that has warranty etc.
In other words the 20% VAT is avoided...no wonder it's cheap! This is for people overseas working under NATO or Diplomatic posts where they have access to diplomatic plates to avoid tax, been this price for months.
It wasn't that clear cut for me. I was tempted by leasing but cars that were listed as available straightaway were actually factory orders.no the actual value of the vehicle is lower than the guaranteed value. which is fine as a customer as that does not affect you however in that case you are better of with a personal lease as generally they are cheaper and have the same outcome
Well I was quoted £35000 by Seat in London PCPIsn’t it only £23k ish to buy it new?
