As per title, which is the best panel air filter for my Cupra tdi

Standard, Pipercross, or K&N (or other) and why?

None, stock paper filters are proven to be the best in these engines.

If it just standard filter then yes the standard ones are fine.

I have always used K&N if replacing with something else though, I've seen Pipercross ones that have dried out from not being cared for, and all of the flaking foam goes straight into the engine.

bought a K&N for 35 quid when i got the leon mk1 150fr 6 years ago, other than checking the air box and cleaning out ect its saved me on the long run buying the standard air filter
