Got all my filters and fluids today to service the beast... got 12 pounds off from trade price at halfords ;) not bad... just need toget the actual oil, think im going along the lines ofmiller oil, the lecturer at uni cant get enough of it so thought id give it a whirl.

when you call - just get them to check the numbers the same for the Ibiza - I think they might be from memory - but the price was the same

just foned ECP, and they said that the leads are something they dont keep in stock... he struggled to find them on the system even after me telling him i have the part number from a golf 2L 16V
and he said they came to 55 pounds!?
any help on this? cant of gone up by 30 pounds surely thats double

EDIT: Just phoned GSF and they want nearer 60 pounds for them!
Vwspares.co.uk gives me Lead Set 2.0 16v ABF ZEF1148 £36.95

Cant be 20 pounds difference on the same product surely!?

BUT: VWspares.co.uk list the gold ones and the SEAT ones as the same part number :)
Looking more promising

Cheers mate, just been on there (edited posts above sorry) and ive found them for my car but its the same part number as for the golf mk3... in which case its cheaper and easier to order from Euro Car Parts, as i live only 10 minutes away, and theyre about 8 pounds cheaper.... only thing is, that the guy at ECP couldnt find them on his system to match, but 1 set cant vary between engines if one company lists as the same part number surely!?

the mk3 golf and ibiza/cordoba 2.0 16v shares the same engine code, this means same head, bottom end gear box cover (different ratios but still bolts on ok) so the distributor and plugs are the same distance away so will be an exact swap.
