best tyre size for 17" alloys

got hold of a set of audi tt ronal alloys..7.5j et32.

question is whats the best tyre size id need for these to go on my 03 ibiza.

alloys are being refurbed at mo.

i was thinking a 205-40-17...??

or would it be better to go for a 215?

There is no 195/35 or 195/30 size, next size down from 195/40 is 185/35.
30 or 35 profile would be awful harsh though and look like a rubber band lol

195 is gonna be a stretch,and the ride will be pants...

i like my comfort alittle more.

think ill stick to the 205 40 17...so ebay here we come..unless anyone has some near essex.

There is going to be no difference at all in terms of comfort between a 195 & 205 lol. Personally I think the slight stretch, that a 195 gives you, looks better.

yeh i know..im not after stretch tbh..its the profile bit...so ill stick with the 40 as a 35 will be harsh

and ibizas aint known for the smooth ride as it is.
