PCD = 4*100
Offset = somewhere around 35mm
Centre Bore = 57.1mm
Standard tyre sizes for a 6 inch wide rim
14 inch wheels = 185/60 14
15 inch wheels = 185/55 15 (although you can also fit 195/50 15s)
16 inch wheels = 195/45 16
Hope that helps
sorry to annoy you Suj
im just panicking. cant find winter tyres for my car, which means i cant drive it.
and im trying to look for the cheapest alternative. so i need to find another way around the size thing. and i need to figure out what other tyres will fit onto the car if i were to get 15" steel rims for her.
You can fit whatever you want
Just work out diameters
195 = width of tyre
50 = the percentage of sidewall (taken from width, so as this is 195 wide, 50% of that = 1 side of diameter)
15" = 15 x 25.4mm = 381mm
So a tyres diameter on a 15" wheel in this case is 195 + 381 = 576mm
ive got spec 2's and i find them a rather good tyre all round... i know ive got a 1.4 so wont be going round a wet round-about as quick as you, but i find they dont seem to want to let go...
