best way to check boost leaks

hi guys think i have a boost leak on my 01 ibiza cupra! or some sort of boost problem trying to get to the end of it!

hows best to check? manually feeling? engine running or not? any revs etc?

anyhelp would be much appreciated

You'd have to be under boost for it to leak (unless one of the bigger pipes is hanging off).

Have a look round for split pipes or signs of oil / oil spray.

If you have vag-com you can log the N75 values as an indicator of having a leak.

On a rolling road is the easiest way to check for boost leaks

ok then cheers guys what checks can i do from home if i am having boost problems? check DV? how do i do this? disconnect MAF reset ECU? how would i do these??

You can check the vac in the DV if its a forge one by following forges guide
