Big Plastic bit on bonnet...

Quick question. Anyone know how to remove the big plastic half moon shape piece of plastic on the bonnet? Its the same piece that has the washer nozzles on it.

Problem is the dealer fitted a new one as they damaged the last one, but the rubber seal that fits in between the plastic and the metal has not been fitted properly on a small section, and was wondering if I could do it myself.

Any pointers?

Not sure how it's done but the bit is called a scuttle panel..

I would have thought a couple of screws removed and bobs your uncle but without looking it's difficult to say.. If there's no obvious screws it might be clipped on and possibly break if you force it off.

Hmm.. I thought the scuttle-dish was the piece of plastic that runs along the bottom of the windscreen. (which was also replaced - dealer broke it).

Thing is now I have a section of rubber seal not fitted properly and a strange buzzing sound coming from that area since they replaced it all. I hate going to the dealer, as they seem to be more trouble then they are worth. Plus the car is going in on Monday for scratch repair (also caused by the same dealer).
Argh! I just want my car working and looking like it should - seems its too much to ask for these days :(

What do you guys suggest?
