Big problem please help!!!!!!!!! Only 15 psi????????

Hi people im having problems with my 1.8T seat ibiza mk3. I currently have a K03s turbo stage 2 revo map, cat back exhaust air filter.

After i had my K03s fitted as i blown my old turbo, every time it hits 3,500 RPM/15 psi the car will not boost any more and the car stutters/spullters and if you keep ur foot down the psi drops to 5 Psi. Alot of people had told me different, some people thinking may be a misfire-coilpaks? personally i don't think that. Could it be a boost leak-where to???? or cud it be something to do with the k03s fitted wrong?

This is really doing my head!!!!! and wud be very greatfull if some1 can help me.

nah nothing buddy, drives fine if u keep the boost down, its a mystery. matey boy has said a boost leak cud that be right, wot pipes shud i check if so????

Check everywhere. Only way of doing it really. It won't be big if it is actually boosting to 15 psi...

sounds like a air leak dude in intercooler pipe! check the pipe that runs rounds nsf inner wing where the m.a.p sensor lives,its bolted on the the valence and are common for splitting there! will sound a bit like over boost! holla

what makes you think its stuttering under boost is not coil pack then.
thats the most likely cause... that and failing MAF's so you are lean as fcuk and misfiring.

hi, its had a new maf on it, is there anyway of telling if the coilpak/s are gone?

Yea vag-com will tell you if there is anything wrong with it...

If its a failing coilpack but it hasnt died yet then it wount bring up an eml light...

if its stu stut st stuttering id say coilpack's or plug's.

Try unplugging the MAF and driving just to rule it out, if the stuttering goes then it's MAF.

Mine had exactly the same symtoms when the maf failed.

I know it's new but it's not been unheard of for new ones to die quickly.

you replace them with known working ones
new maf is'nt 100% to be a working maf tho..

I would guess coilpacks tho from your description.. ~£25 each
