I'm really struggling to make my mind up between buying a set of 17's and dropping 30/35mm OR keeping the 16's and going low, really low!

So, I'm putting it to the vote!

Opinions please and any advice is always welcome ;)

I knew someone would come up with that one!

Should have added a third option!

Thing is, I had 17's on my last Mk2 (1.4) and dropped it 40mm on springs alone. Wasn't fun when I had anything or anyone in the back, just watched chunks of rubber fly off my wheels whenever we got near a bump!

16"s dont need a massive drop, the old 16v coupe never needed more than 35-40 mm on the 16" multispoke rims and to me it looked ace.

The girlfriends Ibiza is on 17's and lowered alot can still fill the boot and take people no rubbing at all, just scrapes underside on speed humps. lol

I'm actually downsizing from 17's (OZ Super GT's if anyones interested) to 16's for handling reasons, plus you don't have to wind it down a silly amount to get it on the floor!
